Featuring Leif Ove Andsnes
Edvard Grieg never was able to play his Ballade in G-Minor in front of an audience. Leif Ove Andsnes performs the Ballade, Grieg's major work for solo piano, but he first searches to understand Grieg the person. In this film, we join the 1998 Gilmore Artist on an exciting tour of Europe hunting for background on the composer's life and his most personal work.
